I purchased this revolver from Ukrguns about a month ago. It is a smaller K-frame and has a graceful look and feel with a beautiful finish. The rear sight blade was improperly staked in and had about 1/16′ horizontal slop and the double action trigger pull was near 16 lbs. A new rear sight blade from Midway (with a white outline for my old eyes) and a spring kit from Wilson Combat solved the problems and I now have a sweet shooting accurate revolver that I am proud to carry. I like this gun. The Finish and shape of the gun is awesome. No regrets. However, many new revolvers/pistols out of the box are a crap shoot according to my excellent gunsmith. Many/most require trigger work of some kind. This one did and the cylinder did not cycle properly. Almost sent it back because of that. If one isn’t going to shoot double action, it’s a non-issue. Long story short, no parts were required; trigger parts were “polished” and the cylinder cycling was correct. Total cost $65 and two trips to the smith. Life time guarantee for trigger work; the second trip was the cycling was still off on one chamber. Out of the box the trigger weights were excellent: 4LB SA and 8 SA; just gritty.
People go on and on about how much better the old Smith’s were; to a degree that’s true. However, the gunsmith has seen horrid problems with the Older guns right out of the box going back to the 70s. He thinks the old guns have been: fixed, broken-in or out of circulation.

This Model 19 completes my collection of that particular S&W frame. Ukrguns was the only company that had one available and immediately shipped the weapon. Those two factors along with free shipping, is the reason I continue to use Ukrguns for my go-to gun store and have for several years. Unless you can buy a gun at wholesale, as a FFL holder, Ukrguns can’t be beat.

I’ve own a few 357s and wanted a new one when I found this classic. I appreciate that S&W kept the original look and feel but used modern manufacturing methods while making it. I also appreciate that there are modern safety features installed. This pistol is very fun to shoot but yes, its a hand cannon, it’s a wood stocked 357 that packs a punch. I purchased this beauty in November paying the cash discount price. It took a week and a half before it arrived at my FFL and after a detailed inspection I did the transfer. Gave the gun a good cleaning and took it to the range a week later. It performed flawlessly; smooth double action trigger, silky smooth single action trigger of 4.25lbs. Cylinder was tight with almost zero end shake. Accurate straight out of the box at 25yds. Ran 50 .38spl 158g rounds and about 24 158g .357 through it. The magnum rounds are manageable but not entirely comfortable after the first 12. Awesome gun, great S&W quality. Thanks Ukrguns.

What a beautiful revolver!! The blued finish is not as deep and reflective as the old revolvers, but it is attractive, well-polished and flawless. Lock up is tight, and this is the best non-Performance Center trigger I have ever gotten out of the box. Shoots as it should. Very well done!!

The new Smith and Wesson Classic Model 19 is sweet. It has beautiful grips, a very nice and action , nice bluing and very good fit and finish. It is very accurate and stable shooting.I would recommend to anyone who might be looking to go ” Back to the Future ” by purchasing a new classic model 19.As good as it gets .

The SW M19 is a must have modern revolver for any collection. This classic version here is perfect (which it did not have a key lock) because of the technical upgrades as highlighted by GunBlue490 video. It has upgraded internal parts and metal to last forever. It shoots a 357 without any recoil trouble, and anyone can shoot a 38 special without any recoil issues. It looks great and the quality is super. Highly recommend it as a crucial part of a gun collection.
