Aero Precision’s M5 .308 Stripped Lower Receiver helps you build a big-bore AR from the ground up. Mil-spec dimensions and coating ensure the highest quality and correct component interface. It features a upper and Nylon tipped tension screws, rear takedown pin detent hole that is threaded for a 4-40 set screw, bolt catch that is threaded for a screw pin (no roll pin needed), and a integrated trigger guard. This stripped lower receiver works with standard DPMS 308 components and magazines.

I used this lower in pair with an aero precision upper and a Wilson combat barrel to build my first 308 ar style rifle. There’s not much to review on a stripper lower, so I’ll just say that everything seemed to be in tolerance as all parts from my lower parts kit fit perfectly and were installed with ease as well as the after market drop in trigger I installed recently. This is a good quality, well priced lower for anyone looking to build a 308 ar whether its your first build or your 100th.

This was bought at a great price for a project I’ll work on later. This receiver is a DPMS LR308 receiver not AR10 since the receivers are cut differently for uppers and since general parts are pricey so make sure to do your research first. Since most parts are sold out and It will take time to complete this build but this is otherwise a good product.
