Aero Precision X-15 Lower AR-15 AR Platform Multi-Caliber Black Hardcoat The AERO Gen 2 stripped lower receiver is the perfect base for your custom AR-15 build. Machined to mil-spec dimensions, Aero lowers work with standard AR-15 components and ensure the highest quality with a correct component interface. The Gen 2 has improvements such as nylon tension screws that allow for a tighter fir between the upper and the lower. The Magwell size has also been increased for easier insertion of magazines and a sleeker look. The lower is machined from 7075-T6 forged aluminum and has a black anodized finish.

Very nice lower super high quality has a nice screw in the bottom of the lower to tighten the upper to lower fit it is very well made the only problem I’ve had is that some magazine catch buttons wont fit for some reason.

As of yet I haven’t built onto this lower receiver, but I like what I see. Examined under a lighted magnifier, its finish is flawless and precision looks very good. Clearly well made. I don’t expect any surprises. This looks like a good bet for any buyer.

Put next to a palmetto state lower couldn%u2019t tell any difference between aero and palmetto state , color and fit were identical, I think the premium price comes in with the adjustment screw which makes for a really nice fit , ( found out the hard way I when I had double feeds after build, adjusted strew snug and no more problems)

Aero Gen II receivers are my go to receiver. For and finish are always perfect. And they come with an upper receiver tension screw.
