Best 9mm carbine I now own, and I own several. Eats all ammo without issue. Accurate, lightweight and compact. The safety is very stiff, but I believe that was done on purpose to fix a past issue with older models where the safety would sometimes be bumped on accidentally. I like that the charging handle can be easily switched to either side. The only downside is that this carbine does NOT have a threaded barrel despite the photo from ukrguns showing that it does. There is a metal picatinny rail on top there is a plastic gate surrounding the the safety. It comes with a 20 round mag, but oddly, no buckstock extension plate nor any side rails. You have to now buy those other items separately from Beretta. Just a cleaning kit comes in the nice, fitted plastic case and the one mag. You can buy the newer Beretta 92 mags with the flat dark earth base plates that are a fairly close match in color to this carbine. On the whole, I really like this carbine.

The CX4 is a really light, quick, accurate and soft shooting 9mm PCC. The experience with Buds on the layaway program went through with no problems.

What can I say? It’s a Beretta! Like most Beretta firearms this one does what it is supposed to do and well. I bought a couple of extra spacers for the buttstock to make it fit me better. Then I put a red dot on it. This carbine is a perfect host for a red dot sight. Quick acquisition and very accurate. It almost makes practicing on a range with metal targets boring because it is so easy to hit the targets. This generation of the CX 4 is improved over the first model I had years ago. Trigger pull is much better. I am well pleased so far.

I love Beretta’s, so I’ll be bias in my review. This pistol caliber carbine is a joy to shoot. Having the ability to move the charging handle to either side easily. Same is true for ejection port. Easy disassembly and no tools required. My 92 FS mags work great in my CX4. Fun gun to shoot.

Lot of things I like about this weapon. No problems with the weapon and it worked flawlessly right out of the box. Weapon came in a very nice plastic gun case with a 20 round mag, cleaning kit, mag loader, and sight adjustment tool. Only complaint is that is was to come with an additional length of pull space, which was not in the case. Other than that the weapon is well built, very ergonomic, very easy to disassemble and clean. I like the fact that you can change the ejection from left to right, and change the charging handle from left to right. That all stated, I would say that this is a 5 star PCC and worth it.

Love the look and feel if this rifle. Once I got it sighted in with a red dot I had a blast at the range. I had 2 cartridges fail to eject but it wasn’t the best ammo and the spring took a bit to get smooth. After about 200 rounds it was just fine. If you are looking for a 9mm rifle for fun times at the range look no further. ukrguns as usual was great start to finish .

ukrguns is #1. Check around and you’ll be back to ukrguns. I’ve purchased enough from them to know this. And this one is NO exception. Purchased on Monday and received at my FFL on Thursday. Great shooter. Very little recoil. Accuracy?? It’s there!! Just a fun gun to shoot. Hard to find, so don’t hesitate. You will not regret getting this little carbine. Over 500 rds so far and no malfunctions. But what the heck; it’s a Beretta. Thanks once again ukrguns.
