You not only get a great price with the Emperor MPTAC12, you also get quality. The oxidation proof and chrome plated 18.5″ barrel is drilled and honed from 4140 steel and chambered for 2 3/4″ or 3″ shells. The upper and forend are made from durable aircraft grade aluminum alloy. Other notable specs include cross-bolt safety, elevated tactical rail and ghost sights, Picatinny rail for forend mounted accessories such as a light, soft rubber butt pad for recoil absorption with adjustable comb and extra 4 shell holder. Overall length 38.5″ with tactical stock and 32″ with rubber non-slip pistol grip. Approx weight 9lbs.

Wow, what a fine defensive weapon. Glad I bought one early before the price skyrockets when everyone else finds out about it. Slick handling with both the Tactical butt stock or the Raptor Grip. Slide has plenty of perch to operate an “over the barrel” grip and operate it fast. I prefer #4 Buck and it patterns nice and tight. Trigger pull is a crisp 5 pounds which I want on a defensive weapon. Fit and Finish exceeded my expectations and for the price, I see nothing better out there.. dp

Great looking shotgun, smooth finish but scratches easily. Huge problem with the action getting locked in the back position. After 11 rds I cleaned the chamber and most the finish looked like it was gone. To cheaply made to recommend. Not a home defense ready weapon.

Here are the pros and cons in my opinion:
Pros:
Light weight, easy to handle
Price is good
Build quality is very good
Marine coating is very durable
Cheek plate on stock is adjustable
Stock comes with extra shell holder
Picatinny rail on the fore-end for flashlight
Cons:
Light weight, so recoil is bit stronger then a heavier shotgun
Sites are a bit high. In close range, point of impact could be 2 inches higher than the aiming point.
Shell holder on stock is super tight, not very user friendly
Trigger is very heavy
Front muzzle break like piece serve no purposes. It is not a muzzle break nor a choke. Don’t know what the practical function is
Some of the features could be pro for someone but con for others. In general this is a very good shotgun for the money. Highly recommended.

Its a nice gun with a few issues, first off was missing the additional stock from the factory sealed box, I contacted support was promised a replacement, been over 4 weeks and I have given up on it. The gun has a significant amount of plastic which is just an observation nothing against the quality, the finish of the gun is a little more muted than polish however, maybe that supports its Marine Grade rating. At the range, works well, the pump action is strong and solid, i ran through 2 dozen slugs and nothing was worse for wear, a good cleaning and she ready to rock n roll. Based on the price point, its a strong value.
