American eagle is good ammo, I’ve used it in several calibers and not had any trouble with it at all, just hard to find right now and Buds is the cheapest I’ve found . The 223 ammo shot great and pretty tight grouping at 100 yards for me. Hope to buy more while in stock at ukrguns.

Federal is a very well established Company. Been around longer than Me (I’m 64). I’ve used Federal My whole life. No to stop. This ammo shoots great, cycles well in My Custom AR 15. Service from Bud’s is always superb.

This is very nice, reloadable, military grade .223 with very good accuracy and it’s very consistent in my S&W AR-15 M&P. I would consider it high grade ammo. I haven’t found any flaws or issues with jamming or failing to eject. No doubt it will work well in a bolt action rifle. My first order was for 260 rounds and because I liked it so much I ordered another 260 rounds. I don’t think anyone would be disappointed with this ammo.

I was having a problem with mis-fires with another brand of ammo, and got a few boxes of the Federal .223. The other brand that mis-fired were found to be slightly shorter than the standard 2.25″ inches, by about 1/16th of an inch, and thought that could be the problem with the mis-fires. When I measured these Federal cartridges I noticed the same thing, a little shorter than 2.25 inches, about 1/16th inch short. But I’ve never had any problem with federal ammo before, and happily found when shooting these, they all shot fine with no problems in the least.
