I got a new 9mm CZ Shadow 2 Target from the CZ custom shop. The target they supplied with the gun was five shots, one small hole. I have read that the ammo CZ uses to test their guns is Sellier & Bellot (S & B). Since both gun and ammo are made in the Czech Republic, that makes sense. The proprietor of the store I bought the gun from said he thought CZ uses 124 gr ammo to test, so that’s what I used. I shot seventy rounds before my pitiful accuracy started to get even worse, so I quit. The gun and ammo ran without a hitch. Both the gun and the ammo are way way way more accurate than I am. It was embarrassing, but I’m too old to care much about my fading ability to shoot small groups. I hesitate to say this, because I don’t want the word to get out that S & B is a top tier ammo. The price might go up, or availability might decline. I was first introduced to S & B ammo a few years back during the ammo drought, and the only ammo I could find for my M1 carbine was S & B. I thought I was buying second tier ammo. I was wrong.

I have always liked the Euro 124-gr 9mm loads, which are closer to the NATO standard for muzzle velocity and energy. This S&B load does not disappoint and works great in my Glock 17L and Ruger PC9 carbine. Shoots clean, goes bang every time and is relatively accurate. Price was decent and you should be pleased with this ammo.
