The target stops 400 fps crossbow field points easily. 2 fingers are all that is needed for removing arrows. 65 lbs heavy-duty.
Michael Moyer –
First off this thing is heavy 70+ lbs. It stops my Mission Sub 1 with ease. Bolt removal is easy and 2 finger pull out. You CAN’T shoot broad heads into this target, not an issue I purchased one of BigShots broad head targets. If you’re going to move this thing around I recommend a dolly or wheel barrel. I don’t leave it out it’s stored in my shed when not being used.

Arrows pull out easy. Great quality heavy duty target that should last. Has good weight and stays put. Highly recommend …..
Dana Harris –
It stops a 50 pound compound in a few inches, and the arrows pull out so easily you don’t believe it. Great target!!

Excellent – EXCELLENT – EXCELLENT – First target which stops Ten Point Nitro XRT (about 1/2 way of 20″ Bolt) – no damage to veins – easy to remove. Fast shipping too – Thank You
(and yes it is heavy, so what…? It works as advertised – that is good trade – heavy, but no more damaged/lost bolts… )

Very nice.

I combined this target with the Highwild archery stand and the combination is great…Plenty of room to attach a Vegas target and get some practice at Home…With the Covid issues we see I’ve been able to practice every day and the target is not affected by rain…BUT it is heavy at about 65Lbs
Bran –
Great for my Crossbow, bolts are easy to pull out with two fingers . Do not use with Rage practice broad heads, will not pull out very easily, will tear the mesh.
Donald Tedrow –
yes handle does fall off,,you won’t want to carry it around anyway,,,very heavy and doesn’t fall over easily.
works on my crossbow and compound bows. surprised how easy arrows pull out. an expensive target but I haven’t shot through with over 500 shots (not all at dead center of target). several different aiming points.
will buy another if and when this one wears out

very easy arrow retrieval .

Arrows shot from 370fps crossbow (Centerpoint Sniper 370) were extremely easy to remove and sank less than halfway up the shaft with target points. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked! It is a heavy target and may not be the easiest to transport.

Great crossbow target

Stops arrows going 328 fps they go in about 4 to 5 inches they pull out easy no effort required shot it a lot all summer still looks like new just dark circles from arrows going in but red dots still easy to see it is very heavy to move around I screwed 2x4s on side for legs short pieces for feet and put 2 short ones on top and a 24 x 30 inch piece of metal roofing on it to keep it dry since it’s heavy enuff I don’t want to carry it to put in shed

VERY NICE TARGET AND ARROWS ARE SUPER EASY TO REMOVE TOO

I have a compound bow and depends what field tips you are shooting you will barely be able to pull them out, they get stuck in the outer layer

The only target I’ve personally found that will stand up to the pounding of 385fps crossbow bolts. Bolts pull out easily. Seems to be holding up very well after several hundred shots. WARNING; never shoot broadheads into this target. Removing them will damage the target (to a very small extent in my case), and cause you to spend hours working them out. Mechanical broadheads will snap off blades upon opening in the kevlar. Field points, on the other hand, really do pull out with two fingers. If I could, I would drop a half a star because of the heavy weight and my lack of faith in the border material. If you’re looking for a target that will take all the speed and power that modern tech can produce, this is it. Buy it.

ITS WORTH THE MONEY, i shoot 235 feet a second, easy pull out of target

On the whole, this is a good target which stands up well to being left outdoors year-round. There are a few negatives, though, which I’d like to point out which caused me to give it only a 3-star rating:
First, I shoot a 50# recurve bow with field points on cedar-shaft arrows. The target generally works well for me, but when it was new, there were some spots which were so dense that the arrows would just bounce off. Over time, it has “softened up” and that particular issue is significantly reduced.
Second, catching the black edging material with an arrow is troublesome. I’ve lost several tips there; in most cases, I can’t even get the tips out of the target using vice-grips. But I make my own arrows and have a large quantity of field points on hand, so this hasn’t been a really big deal for me.
Third, and this is the really aggravating part for me (but not something I can really fault the target on), now that Winter is ending, I have a squirrel problem! Those little beasts have figured out that they can tear through the mesh net and the white covering material behind it and dig out the scraps of fabric which make up the insides of the target! There are two good-sized cavities in the target now, and arrows just will not stick in those spots anymore. I had justified the cost of this target based on the goal of using it for several years, but now I guess I’ll have to go back to using cheaper styrofoam targets and replacing them every few months.

Stops all arrows with little penetration so it easy to remove the arrows without damage.
Ronald C. Rougeaux –
I’ve had five carbon arrows break trying to remove them from around the edge of target. Around the perimeter of the target appears to be 5/8″ plywood. If you hit the there, you’ll need to remove the arrows without breaking them. I use a drill to drill around the shaft and try to chip the wood loose to get the arrows out. If you’re not careful the shafts will break… I’ve lost 5 arrows not being careful enough. I wouldn’t buy again.

I purchased this target less than 2 months ago at the time I owned a Ravin R 9 and 1st 2 weeks the target did Great at 80 yards. Some issues with that xbow and had to return it.
I live in SW Florida. Yes the Eye of Irma come over my home. Finally this week the Ravin R 15 came in i purchased to replace the R 9 and this weekend was Finally able to shoot again.
This target was inside my home in A/C for a good month. I set it back out to dial in the Hawk XB 30 Pro scope on the R15 at 30 yards and 3 Bolts went through the Top 3 markers. The material settles towards bottom.
Bottom half to 2/3rds is as advertised. Just don’t expect the Top row markers to stop your Bolts.
Or when don’t pass completely through you’ll have to cut them out for the the ones that didn’t pass through.
GREAT TARGET –
Had mine 3 years , still holding up , Just keep it out of the Rain ..also Its a little HEAVY
Jesica –
this target stops my Ghost 410 without worries. field tips remove with ease.
Laurie McKinney –
So far so good. Stopping my 3d setup with ease. Arrows pull out is effortless.
lurch –
I shoot a speed bow around 400 fps. I have a very hard time finding targets to stop my arrows, but this one stops them easily so far with only a couple inches of penetration in the target at 10 yards. The arrows pull out of the target very easily.
D and C –
This is an awesome target. Stops the arrow very quickly without damaging the tips or the shafts in any visible way. The only reason that I give it 4 stars is because it’s suuuuper heavy and if you accidentally shoot the black border it will steal your field tips and I have damaged 2 carbon shafts because of this.

Best target that I have bought

First of all this thing is at least 60 pounds. Extremely heavy to move around and is not made for anything other than cheap field tips. I used my pre-season practice tips and destroyed the target on first shot. I regret buying this monster
