Very nice . Great looking quality item. This is 4 click original colt type firing pin. No transfer bar or floating firing pin. There was some confusion in the questions section about this. I’m happy with this type nevertheless. All cleared up now! Thanks ukrguns

Just received two of these 1873 Gunfighters! Excellent clone of the Colt SA. Beautiful color case hardening. 4 click hammer and floating firing pin. These models do not have ridiculous transfer bar so carry on empty chamber. I’m sure it will shoot beautifully once I get a chance to go out. Overall I’m amazed at the quality and finish of these six shooters!

Been wanting a cowboy pistol and eyeing this one for sometime. Was looking on the site saw it the price was great put it in the bin paid for it was shipped that day and arrived at my preferred shop and patiently waiting for the Brady Bill. It’s a gorgeous piece for my collection.

These were so inexpensive I bought a few of them. Very happy with them. The fit and finish is terrific. Everything was a little ‘tight’ but after putting some rounds through it, they loosened up. I wish they had been a little better merchandised on this Buds site. I thought these guns would have the safety bar in the trigger but they do not. They are faithful reproductions of the original Colt. There are pros and cons for everyone and everyone has their preference. But I would have liked the model to have a safety bar under the hammer and be a little safer. You just cannot store a round under the hammer. So that turns the gun into a 5-shooter. There is a little safety device which is nice which is to push the cylinder pin into the second detention and that makes it so the hammer cannot strike a shell. But I would not always relay on that as your primary safety. The pin only has grooves on one side of it so it is easy to not quite have the cylinder pin set just right. Overall very happy with this gun. Certainly for the price.
