   I just received this rifle today. Super fast shipping and professional handling on the part of ukrguns. It was an effortless transaction. I have waited 35 years to purchase a semi auto AK 47. I am glad I waited until now. This rifle is everything I hoped it would be. Extremely high quality fit, finish, and feel to it. I love the improvements that Zastava made to it. can’t wait to take it to the range and try it out!

   This AK is a kick to shoot. It seems well made and has functioned perfectly with no issues in 300 + rounds. Ordering was very easy. I used ukrguns 90 day lawaway which made paying easy as well. Delivery to my FFL was flawless. I recommend this Zastava AK and ukrguns.

   This AK is excellent quality as far as I can tell, I put about 200 rounds through it so far, mixed Tul and Wolf cheap stuff and zero issues. I used cheap Croatian mags, I think the one it came with was a Croatian actually, and they work fine, lock in place and feed fine. Pmags run great. Accuracy I only tested at 25 yards but it managed 3-4″ grouping standing and I am no crack shot, so the rifle will do better in more capable hands I am sure. I trust Zastava, I have a Yugo SKS from Zastava and it is flawless like this rifle. Great price too, considering a wasr or century arms and PSAK is 900$ range, the step up in quality is excellent for only a hundred or two more. I’ve only shot a few other imports and many AK’s when I was overseas and seen some really janky poorly made and maintained AK’s still run, but this one feels like a much more expensive AK. I appreciate the RPK strengthening on reciever, the optic mount rail, and the bolt hold open. I plan on some trijicon night sights next. Thank you ukrguns and Zastava!

   Was super impressed with this rifle initially after unboxing it. That, however, did not last long. I loaded the provided steel magazine to capacity (30rds) and attempted to chamber a round. The bolt will not slide completely forward after chambering. It stops short about an inch. After you’ve ejected about 6 or 7 rounds from the magazine it will fully chamber a round and let the bolt go completely forward. I’m assuming this is a magazine issue. So I contacted Zastava and they’re reply was “if I had another magazine to try..if it does it with another magazine then it’ss a mag-well issue” and I’m assuming if that’s the case ill have to send the rifle back to be repaired or replaced. How frustrating to pay 1100 dollars for a rifle only to get it and have to send it back. If this wasn’t enough to make me not want this gun, I noticed a small hairline crack in the butt-stock while wiping it down. It starts where the wood meets the butt-plate. It wasn’t noticeable until after I applied “boiled linseed oil” to the stock as recommended by the manufacturer. I feel like I’ve been punched in the stomach. This makes me wish I had never even considered buying this rifle. I hope that the chambering issue was just the mag and not the mag-well itself but something tells me that it is the mag-well. Considering I paid 1100 dollars and got a cracked stock, why wouldn’t the actual functionality of the rifle be compromised too? I won’t be keeping this rifle. The sight of it just infuriates me.
